The IRA's history is full of injustices, violence, and so much ambiguity
It tells of a famous kidnapping from the perspective of the family members and the IRA’s situation. Recommended as a book that is not easy to put down.
Good, a bit long, but starting from a kidnapping the author makes a long excursus on the brutal reality in Northern Ireland, the IRA, the attacks, and many of its key figures such as Hughes, the Price sisters, and Adams, important but ambiguous. A long but fascinating history; I did not know much about it. Perhaps a bit too heavy on details, especially in the final section when it turns to politics and interviews.
